It is looking very much like Wasted Dreams will be Vulcans last release into the Amiga market for the forseable future, maybe even ever....
This games release will follow many cancellations from Vulcan, there last release into the Amiga market was Genetic Species and ever since then things have began to go downhill regarding there involvment in the Amiga market.
They are building up quite a number of releases for the PC market, this alone would 'cause many to think that there involvment in the Amiga is close to an end, however, along ewith the cancellations of their proposed Amiga games this view is very much strenghend.
To add to this, there 'Amiga News Service' has been halted due to lack of news to report. It would seem more true now, then at any other time that there 5 years of involvment with the Amiga is coming to an end. They have kept their options open by saying they are still willing to publish Amiga games in the future, however, its plainly obvious that they are not pursuing this as much as they did a year or so ago.
Hopefully, with the release of Wasted Dreams they can go out on a high, not everyone has enjoyed there games, however, no-one can say that they haven't done there part for the Amiga over the past few years. Maybe i'm being a bit premature with this, however, I would like to thank Vulcan for all that they have done for the Amiga, and hopefully they will come back if is ever returned to its former greatness....
Note: The above it only my views on the situation and should be taken as that only. I would like to point out that Vulcan have by no means officially announed that they are leaving the Amiga.
