Back to news pages...No sooner then clickBOOM say that there will be no PPC Quake from themselves there are already mumours that a Quake 2 port might come our way, although it won't be from clickBOOM if it does.
Yep, thats right. It has been confirmed that Digital Images are trying to establish contact with ID software with the sole intention of getting a licence to port Quake 2 to the Amiga. Anything official is a long way off yet, however, Digital Images say that they will do there upmost to obtain the licence.
Digital Images say that if they do actually get it, the game would be PPC only. Anything else would be stupid really as 68k processors could hardly handle Quake let alone Quake 2.
Like I say, anything concrete is a long way off yet, however, its nice to see that there are still Amiga companies around that are trying to bring the best of other platforms to the Amiga. Lets hope that there not aiming too high...
