Gilbert Goodmate Update.
A small update concerning Prelusion's Gilbert Goodmate has been posted on the site.

First of all, they are still looking for beta testers for the game, although this is currently only for the PC version. As for the actual production of the game, the main charactor has received a complete makeover and now looks much better then it did before, almost all cut scenes have been finished, also, all of the dialogues have been finished and all that is left to do is actually record the voices.

A new release date of December '99 has been set, I would assume this is for the PC version and the Amiga version would follow shortly after.

New 3D Space Game in Development.
I have just received information about a new game that is in production by a team called 'Amiga Farm'....The game is called Edict 2999 ad is basically a 3D space combat game with internet play.

Details are low at the moment, however, I'm told it will features 2 very interesting features. The first of these in the introduction of 'Artificial Life' to enhance the nature of fighting in the game, the programmers are hoping this will make a big difference, making such things as greater exilleration of causing a kill and sweaty nervousness when you cant break free of one an a part of the game. The second feature is two screen output if you have a gfx card. The viewscreen will be done through the monitor whilst the aga chipset will output stats and other technical things such as shield strength / energy allocation etc.

A decision has not yet been made if to use real or artistic physics in the game, this is something that will be decided once a number of tests have been made.

Hopefully more news on the game soon....

Delsyd Software Update.
Delsyd Software have just updated there webpage to let everyone know that they are still alive. Heres a few snippets of what they have to say.

We're still alive!
"Has it really been 4 months since the last update.Wow! We are pleased to announce that Delsyd Software is moving to a page without annoying pop up windows! Thanks to the genius of Chris Payne,we will soon be moving in to our new web space. Chris is doing a total redesign for the site as well. Hurrah!"

More games to come
"In our relentless quest to push the envelope of Amiga gaming, we'd like to announce that at least 2 more games are in their early design stages. Both of them are fairly tasteless. The first game,"Pimpin' Ain't Easy",is a resource management game where you get to play as a pimp.Darik Brown is working on this masterpiece. As soon as we get in contact with him again,we'll give you the full details. The other game doesn't have a name yet. It's a Syndicate-like game about gang warfare.Expect both of these games to contain enormous amounts of senseless violence, tongue in cheek humor, and a total disregard of morality. Release dates have not been set."

We support the Linux decision
"Fair enough. We don't see any problems with Amiga's choice of Linux as their operating system. We will still fully support the Ng.If the AmiRage and Iwin systems materialize,we'll support them as well."
