News from May 1999

Recent Wildtracks Demo Reports.
As you may have noticed, recently there were reports on other Amigas new pages that a Wildtracks demo was available. This was complete rubbish. The demo that was being referred to was in-fact not a demo of Wildtracks but of a completly different engine, again, this was another case of poor research by certain web-pages.

To just bring you upto date with the state of the game, Deepcore are currently working on a PC version of the game. The Amiga version is still alive but is on the backburner so to say while Deepcore concentrate on getting the PC version finished and hopefully making some money. If all goes to plan we will see an Amiga version shortly after the PC version.

Recent Lack of Updates
As you will probably have noticed there have been a 'slight' lack of updates to the page over the past few weeks. The reason for this? Well, the usual apply of too much work/pub and just a bit of general lazyness on my part :).

Adding to this i've recently been tied up with the not so easy task of getting APUS running. Anyway, things should get back to normal now and you can expect the normal 'quality' news service to continue.

To stop this sort of thing happening in the future maybe someone to contribute to the page might be an idea, anyone out there feel upto it? ;))

UK Amiga Nutta Mirror & Mailing List Going Down
Over the next few days, the UK Amiga Nutta Mirror (www.irrelevant.org) & the Amiga Nutta mailing list will be permanantly going down. This is due to circumstances out of my control.

I will hopefully be getting a new fast UK mirror up and running in the future, however, this is still in the planning stages. As for the mailing list, I'm not sure as to weather this will ever get back up, let me know what you think, if theres enough support maybe i'll get one up and running on oncelist or something...
