A New Amiga? |
|
This is the very question that many people are asking after seeing some very interesting information on the iwin corperation website.
They have created an 'Amiga Division' which has 2 'new amigas' in development, the the A1010M and P & the A510M and P. The following is the blurb on the introduction blurb on the website for each of these.
"The new A1010M and P workstation is based on a Motorola 68k (M Version) or
PowerPC (P Version) CPU. High speed CPU components, large amount of ram, special
graphics and sound features, special processors for java and multimedia
processing and the 100% compatibility makes the A1010 a premium choice for
multimedia."
"The new A510M and P workstation is also based on a Motorola 68k (M Version) or
PowerPC (P Version) CPU. It features everything like the A1010M or P
workstation, but has a lower amount of RAM and doesn’t have some features
usually used by graphics specialists."
It features everything what Amiga users are dreaming of and were promised since a long time but didn’t get it. The Iwin A1010M and P workstation is the ideal computer for multimedia purpose.
A large amount of RAM, excellent graphic performance for 2D and 3D environments and programs, high quality stereo sound in CD quality, various harddisk sizes, CD-ROM / DVD-ROM drive(s), ZIP / JAZ drive (options), various display types and much more makes the Iwin A1010 M and P workstation the premium choice for all multimedia purposes. A keyboard and mouse is of course also included.
Note: Iwin Corporation does NOT sell the AmigaOS together with the A1010 and A510! You will have to get it from your local Amiga dealer."
