Due to FUBAR seemingly growing legs and running away from us, we have new
positions opened up for *2D and 3D graphics artists* to help keep it under
control and help out our main graphics artist. The following benefits are
looking to be snapped up:
- A cut of the profits from the game (in whatever currency is appropriate)
- Your name in the credits
- A free copy of FUBAR (which I'm sure you'll treasure for years :)
Things you'll be responsible for doing include:
3D ARTISTS
- Designing and modelling of units, including animating them (units
include, but not limited to, tanks, helicopters, aircraft, boats,
soldiers, etc.).
- Rendering full-screen static images (including wording, logos, etc.)
- Rendering FMV sequences (for introduction animations, etc.)
2D ARTISTS
- Artwork for graphical user interfaces (buttons, panels, pointers,
textures, etc.).
- Several still images (of varying descriptions)
- Font drawing
If you aren't aware of what FUBAR is (argh :) then please visit our website
at http://www.q-soft.demon.co.uk
To be able to qualify, please send us a few examples of your artistic
capabilities to look over and we'll get back to everyone who applies.
(Make sure your examples are JPEGs and *not* archived - thanks.)
Please get in touch even if you can't do all of the responsibilities listed
above - you'd have to be super-human to do so.
We also have work for another project which we plan to work on immediately
after FUBAR meaning we have future opportunities. We already have a large
team ready to get started as soon as FUBAR is in the can - maybe you could
be one of them?
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: You will need an *Amiga* (of reasonable
specification), be able to speak *fluent* English, meet *deadlines*, and
have a big sense of *humour*.
