Face Attack isn't, as some of you may already
have guessed from the screenshots, a new game. It is infact Trapped 3
under a new name. Lots of people have been asking me if this game is
still alive, well, I can now inform you that it is.
The game was originally going to be called FratzenGeballer, however, it was decided that a name that meant more to the English speaking community would be better. As was mentioned before, this is the follow-up the the moderately successful Trapped 2. This was a game that had a very nice engine, however, it seemed to loose out in the playability stakes. Face Attack aims to improve on this.
The story of this game is far different to the previous two games from Oxyron.
Gone is the puzzle and magic element of the other 2 games and in comes the basic
shoot everything that moves. To cut the story short you are on a space station
and you have to kill everything on it.
The engine that is used in the game is an advancment on the Trapped 2 engine. It features improved texture mapping, lensflare, mipmapping and some excellent light effects. Added to this is the promise of some hugh explosions and improved artificial intelligence.
To play the game you will require any Amiga with 2Mb RAM, an CD-ROM drive and 15MB HD space.
Hopefully the game will be released some time around christmas by New Generation Software.
