Alive Mediasoft have just announced 2 new games that they are currently working on and have set for release in the not to distant future.

The first of these is Goal: Season 98-99. This as the name suggests is a new
version of the popular (and unofficial) sequel to Kick Off 2. Goal was a
contender for best football game alongside SWOS and hopefully it will improve
with this update. I'm not to sure of exact details yet, however, I have been
told that it will feature all of the new teams from the Premier League to the
third division as well as the best of the European & International teams. I'm
not to sure if the game will be updated in other ways such as 060 compatibility
and HD install, I will try to find out as soon as possible.
New Screenshots and more details shouldn't be that far away.
The second game is Phoenix Fighters. As you can see from the screenshots on this page, this is an overhead shoot-em-up not completly dis-similar to Gravity Force (Remember this folks?). I'm told that these screenshots don't really do the game justice though as you can't appreciate the high speed, smooth scrolling and great gameply from them, hopefully a demo isn't too far away then....
The game features a number of different modes including Race mode (bascially a race against a computer controlled opponent to reach the exit), obstacle course mode (in which you fly around collecting gems which have to be returned to the base) and dog fight mode (kinda self explantory, fight against a human opponent).
